As a support coordinator, Tanner will help you navigate your NDIS plan and ensure that you are receiving the full support and treatment you require. He also understands that your needs can change and will also see to it that your plan is revised and that you are connected with any new services you may need.
Tanner has a strong passion and commitment to becoming a professional provider of high quality healthcare in the field of positive behavioural support. Ideally, I would like to work with a multidisciplinary team of health practitioners, to collectively achieve the best possible health outcomes for individuals, their families and broader community.
He has a background in rehabilitation services. And residential support work. Here he has developed skills in therapeutic support such as, social development, one-on-one assistance that is tailored specifically to client’s individual needs, assisting with participation in daily activities, medication administration, creating/facilitating educational programs for personal development, and the production of formal documents and reports. All factors which apply perfectly to effective support coordination.
Tanner’s academic background is a degree in Psychological science which has given him a very strong understanding of the complex differences between individual behaviours and needs. Tanner is also currently doing post graduate studies in advanced behaviour analysis to further develop his knowledge.
His friends, family and colleagues would describe him as an incredibly positive person, known for having a natural ability to quickly build very trusting relationships with people of all ages and demographics, and someone with strong personal values and ethics.
In his spare time Tanner enjoys being outdoors and being active. He also loves food and watching movies or whatever sport is on TV.
Tanner’s approach to Support Coordination is that everybody has the right to a fair chance at an improved quality of life. And he is committed to helping his clients achieve this by attempting to reach all their goals.
