Leanne Bitz

Leanne loves people! She has enjoyed working within many fields and with people of every age group and ability level. She has completed 6+ years of Aged Nursing Assistance, worked for three years in a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre, has spent many years working with children, teens and young adults, and has recently spent 5+ years working as a Support Professional. Other varied work has been, working on a fishing trawler, administration, and cleaning.

Leanne has advocated for, and been a full-time carer for those that have struggled with their mental health and other challenges in life.

Leanne loves to keep on learning. Currently she is studying a Bachelor in Psychology and finishing off her Cert 4 in Mental Health. Leanne has completed Cert 4 in Management, Cert 4 in Leadership Support, and a financial course. Leanne loves creating documents to help with budgeting, cooking and shopping plans.

Her other great love is Music, going to gigs, singing and playing in bands, writing songs, and teaching music😊. Leanne loves the outdoors, camping and noticing all the beautiful things in this world, especially trees, leaves and flowers. Recently Leanne has expanded her camera collection from zero to three so that she can invite people out to take pictures together. Oh, and she really loves colour, especially colourful LED lights!

Leanne believes that every person is wonderfully unique, amazing and deserving of every opportunity to flourish and be believed in, supported, and cheered on.
