Brief info

Debbie Cook, support worker, supporting clients to achieve their work, fitness and leisure goals.

Debbie has been with the company for 3 months. Prior to that she has spent 25 years in the disability sector in various roles the most recent one being a Special Education Teacher since 2000.

Debbie graduated from Western Sydney University, NSW with a Masters in Special Education, she also has attained qualifications in nursing and outdoor recreation activities. One of her proudest moments in her working career was presenting at the NSW Disability Conference for the NSW Recreation Network about outdoor recreation activities for people with intellectual disabilities.

In her spare time Debbie enjoys riding her horse, gardening, weight training and has an interest in creating her own body products using essential oils.

Debbie believes that we all have the ability to learn and achieve our desired goals and there are many ways to learn and grow. Her favourite quote is “ Conquer, adapt and overcome”.

Debbie is passionate about all people regardless of their ability to have the same opportunities. She is constantly striving to maintain that equilibrium for her clients at every possible moment.
