Cristina Duarte is one of our Support Coordinators. Cristina is here to help you understand your NDIS plan, assist you with plan reviews and find quality services to meet your everchanging support needs.
Cristina has a very broad career background, but it her passion for making a difference and helping others that is highlighted.
Cristina has worked in the Care sector for the last 10 years. Cristina has specialized in Disability & Complex Behaviour Support for the last 3 years. Prior to this, Cristina spent time working with High Care Dementia clients providing support, leadership and compassion throughout her role in a person centred care environment.
Cristina holds numerous qualifications, the most relevant are her Diploma of Law, Aged Care & Mediation with more qualifications to be added. Cristina is an avid learner, and in her own words “will always continue to learn”. Through Cristina’s career she has developed organizational skills, empathy, compassion and the ability to work under pressure.
On her spare time Cristina likes to spend it with her family and friends bushwalking, shopping and attending her children’s sporting events. Cristina loves to cook and entertain for her family and friends.
Cristina believes that life is worth living, through challenges we learn, through knowledge and understanding we grow. Most importantly, by building relationships we learn from others and that knowledge is very valuable when supporting others.
It is important for Cristina that everyone gets to enjoy life and live it to their fullest potential. It is her aim to help everyone achieve their goals in the best way they can.
