Brief info
Joshua Burnie, Service Delivery Administration Assistant, provides support with the management of day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth services to all people engaging with Coastal Connect Independence.
Josh has recently joined the Coastal Connect Independence team. Prior to that, he has been in the disability services field for over 3 years. This has included direct support worker roles, peer worker roles, and coordination of support and services roles.
Josh has attained a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work through TAFE NSW. Josh is always looking for more opportunities to further his personal development within the disability space.
During time away from work, Josh thoroughly enjoys Fishing, Camping, Music, Movies and spending time with his loving family. Josh has a 1 year-old Spoodle named Archie. One of Josh's favourite things to do is sit by the river, do some fishing, and take in the peace and calmness.
Josh approaches his role remembering that everyone's journey in life is different and we all go through different stages, some of these may be tough and other times they may be a breeze. Everyone has their own personal challenges at some stage, you're not alone.
Josh has a passion for helping and supporting others in the local community and provides this through great quality services and loves supporting people to identify goals that truly matter to them.
