As a support coordinator, Helen will help you understand your NDIS plan, assist with plan reviews and find quality services to meet your ever changing needs.
In her café and catering business, Helen emphasised the importance of inclusivity and fostered a culture of respect and kindness in the workplace. She employed people of varying abilities and social concerns. Her focus was on training and teaching and bringing out the best in people. She believes that everyone deserves the chance to reach their full potential.
Helen has a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Health Promotion and Social Policy. She is currently working toward a Masters in Counselling.
Helen has enjoyed working with people from all walks of life through volunteering with church and community organisations. In Helen’s eyes, all people are important and have something meaningful to offer.
Wellbeing is a focus for Helen and her life is balanced through social connections, work, play, creativity, prayer and meditation. She likes to say “While there is life, there is hope…and something to learn and something to offer.”
Her great appreciation of the natural world means that Helen loves to spend time bushwalking with her family and friends and exploring what the beautiful Shoalhaven has to offer.
