Jo Gladwin, Service Delivery Team Leader

Jo’s role is to guide and assist our Support Professionals, creating and growing effective teams and assisting in professional development through training and other programs that aid the Support Professional role.

Jo will also be working with and supporting our Participants, ensuring services provided assist the persons to be independent, have choice and control of there own lives by meeting their goals.

Jo has been working within the Age care and Disability sector within the community for over 15 years. She has a broad range of skills having worked as a Support Worker, Care Coordinator and Site Manager. Jo has worked with people living in their own homes, Supported living and Day programs.

Jo also worked as a Local Area Coordinator during the role out of the NDIS in
Sydney in 2016.

During Jo’s employments she has completed her Cert 3 in Age Care and Disability and her Cert 4 in Community Services. Jo has completed many other inhouse training including Centred Care Support, Medication Training and Leadership.

Jo enjoys spending time with her husband and family, including travelling to Melbourne to visit her new beautiful granddaughter. Jo enjoys entertaining friends and spending time outdoors with her 2 dogs who believe they are human. She also has a cat that runs their home.

Jo has always had a genuine passion to support all individuals to be independent and have choice over their own lives. Jo is an active advocate for all people with disability to have the same access and rights to everyone else.

From the day Jo started as a Support Worker she knew she had found her path, she works with her heart as well as her head. Jo has always felt that this career is where she belongs. It’s not just what she does but who she is.
