Brief info

Cassie Williams has recently commenced employment with Coastal Connect Independence.
She is very passionate about supporting people and allowing them to live a meaningful and valuable life.
Cassie has experienced a vast variety of employment - including - funeral assistant/undertaker, wardsperson in a rehabilitation/palliative care hospital setting and has spent the majority of her working years as a dairy farmer. Through her broad work experiences, Cassie has learnt to be adaptable and flexible whilst supporting people through some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Cassie has lived experience with both mental health and psychosocial disabilities. She would like to complete qualifications and training to further her knowledge within the disability sector.
Cassie is a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and strongly believes in equality for all.
Being the avid Harry Potter fan that she is, Cassie believes in the quote by Albus Dumbledore which reads- “it matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be”. Cassie instils this in every aspect of her life and believes that with the right support, anything is possible.
In her spare time, Cassie enjoys spending quality time with her fiancé, family and friends. She also loves her 3 feather babies and 4 furbabies who all provide her with her daily dose of happiness.
